What is Varicose Vein Treatment?

Varicose veins continue to progress unless treated, varicose veins, treatment with medication and some methods do not stop the progression of varicose veins, they only slow it down and provide partial relief from complaints. Op. Dr. Okan DOST, who is among the doctors who treat varicose veins, defines varicose veins as follows. Varicose veins are the expansion, tortuosity and ballooning of the veins that carry dirty blood to the heart. The main problem here is the increase in the pressure in the veins and the high tension in the veins.

Just as elasticity and ballooning in arteries due to high blood pressure are important and require urgent treatment, elasticity and ballooning in veins should not be neglected in the same way. Arterial problems lead to loss of limbs and life, while venous problems negatively affect the quality of life. The most important difference in the treatment of high blood pressure in arteries and veins is that while arterial blood pressure is corrected by suppressing the work of the heart, expanding the capillaries or reducing the amount of blood, the drugs used to reduce blood pressure in veins aim to shrink and tighten the capillaries. Varicose vein surgery, foam varicose vein treatment, laser varicose vein treatment, radiofrequency treatment, varicose vein needle treatment, etc. treatment methods are applied for the treatment of varicose veins.
